    Rachel is an almost qualified naturopath at Island Healing, and woman behind The Modern Medicine Woman - driven by a passion for holistic health and wellness.

    Her journey began with the exploration of her own health problems that biomedicine couldn't find answers to, leading her to discover the power of natural medicine and the bodies own capacity for healing. This was really just the beginning of a journey to health through many layers and experiences. Rachel knows first hand the complex interplay that genetics, lifestyle, and our unique life experiences that impact our health and wellbeing.

    Rachel believes in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Her approach combines traditional naturopathic principles with modern wellness and science, allowing her to tailor treatments that address each client's unique needs and goals. Whether clients are seeking relief from chronic health issues and stress, digestive issues, or simply aiming to enhance their overall well-being, Rachel is committed to guiding them on their journey.

    Philosophy

    Rachel is dedicated to empowering her clients with knowledge and tools to take charge of their health. She emphasises the importance of lifestyle changes, self awareness, nutrition, and mindfulness as integral components of healing. Together with her clients, she explores natural therapies, including herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, and stress management techniques, to create personalised wellness plans that resonate with them.

    Qualifications

    Rachel has almost completed a bachelor degree in health sciences which has provided her with a deep understanding of the human body, pathology, herbal medicine and holistic health, Rachel provides compassionate care and support, understanding that people need to be met where they are. Her goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood, and inspired to embrace healthier lifestyles and most importantly supported to do so.
